2.1 Use of land filling technology for biogas generation. After harvesting of sugarcane, the root zones of the crops regularly used in the cook stove as fuel. It produces smoke inside kitchen. Chopped these materials and filled 40 kgs chopping material in the biogas system. After 30 days system started and produce the biogas. Total Biogas production : 2808 litres Biogas production per kg feed stock.
2.2 A system was designed producing tar, oil and charcoal from biomass. It was tested with attaching chimney to the system to condense oil and tar trickling from the chimney.
